Patrick O'Donnell is a birding guide with more than 20 years of experience guiding and studying birds in Costa Rica, Peru, and Ecuador, and is the author of “How to See, Find, and Identify Birds in Costa Rica”. This day trip is an easy way to see a good range of species endemic to highland habitats of Costa Rica and Panama. Regularly encountered birds include Resplendent Quetzal, barbets, Northern Emerald Toucanet, 10-12 hummingbird species, silky-flycatchers, and more. Price is for 1-3 persons (cost not per person) and does not include cost for transportation to and from hotel. Note: Private tour, entrances fees and meals are not included.
